Adam Herzog Quoted by Global Competition Review

KBK partner Adam Herzog was recently quoted by Global Competition Review in the article, “Experts push for whistleblower incentives.”
Enacted in 2020, the Criminal Antitrust Anti-Retaliation Act (CAARA) bans employers from punishing an employee that reports violations of the Sherman Act to the Department of Justice. However, unlike other whistleblower incentive programs, CAARA offers no montary award for whistleblowers, which does little to mitigate the fear that they have in coming forward. Despite this, whistleblower lawyers like Mr. Herzog still believe the law is a step in the right direction.
“Congress knows the people who are really going to be in a position to know when companies do no good are the employees,” Mr. Herzog said.
