Katz Banks Kumin partner Alexis Ronickher spoke at the Virginia Continuing Legal Educations Board’s 30th Annual Employment Seminar, on the panel, “Disability and Leave: Hot Topics in a Post-Pandemic World.” This seminar offered valuable information and advice for all practitioners of employment law.
Ms. Ronickher’s panel covered legal questions related to the FMLA and ADA that could arise once COVID-19 is under control. These issues include the vaccine in the workplace, the return to physical workplaces, telework, and employment leave. Additionally, the panelists covered how workplace policies may change in Virginia, now that the state has legalized marijuana.
