Bloomberg Releases Updated Version of Employment Discrimination Law Resource

January 10, 2018

Katz Banks Kumin partner Lisa Banks contributed to the fifth edition of the treatise, “Employment Discrimination Law.” The book, and the 2017 cumulative supplement independently, are available for purchase on Bloomberg’s website.

The treatise is a complete analysis of the complex field of employment discrimination law, and is written and edited by attorneys from the three wings of the ABA Labor and Employment Law sections – representing the plaintiff/public, management, and union employment bars.

This most recent 2017 edition contains topical Supreme Court decisions and their impacts on retaliation claims, the ability to arbitrate employment disputes, Title IX class actions, and the statute of limitations in cases of pay discrimination. The 2017 cumulative supplement includes recent updates on a variety of important issues, such as the Pregnancy Discrimination Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, affirmative action in employment, and much more.

“Employment Discrimination Law” is described as an “indispensable resource” in the Legal Information Buyer’s Guide and Reference Manual, and offers the most comprehensive coverage for employment discrimination law.
