Colleen Coveney to Discuss Changing Currents in Employment Law at D.C. Bar Annual Event
On October 25, 2023, KBK partner Colleen Coveney will participate in a panel discussion on pay transparency for the D.C. Bar in-person event, “Changing Currents in Employment Law 2023.”
As part of her panel, Ms. Coveney and her co-panelist will discuss the continued prevalence of the gender gap and the recent emergence of pay transparency laws designed to close the gap. Attendees can expect to receive an overview of historical pieces of legislation enacted to close the gender gap and information about recently enacted pay transparency laws and how these new laws are anticipated to impact employers and employees alike.
Attendees will receive three credit hours for attending the CLE, which will include several panel presentations on topics such as sexual harassment and arbitrability of workplace disputes how to avoid or prove discrimination in a mass layoff, accommodating long COVID symptoms, and religion in the public workplace. Registration is open through October 11, and more information can be found here.
