Lisa Banks and Debra Katz Respond to Tom Davis' Criticisms of Congressional Investigation into Dan Snyder and the Washington Commanders

WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Lisa Banks and Debra Katz, who represent over 40 former Washington Commanders employees, sent a letter to Daniel Snyder’s attorney, former congressman Tom Davis, demanding the retraction of false and defamatory statements about several of their clients made by him and his legal team in a recent letter to the House Committee on Oversight and Reform.

“In writing your letter, it is clear that you failed to conduct basic fact checking before publicly impugning the reputation of witnesses in at least three ongoing investigations – one by Congress, one by the NFL, and one by the D.C. Office of Attorney General.  As a former Member of Congress and former Chair of the Committee, you should understand the importance of getting facts right.” they wrote.

In addition to refuting many of the blatant errors and omissions contained in Snyder’s attorney’s letter, Banks and Katz also request that Snyder provide the Beth Wilkinson findings and documents to the Oversight Committee, and agree to waive NDAs for former employees appearing before the Committee.
