Lisa Banks and Debra Katz Submit Letter Ahead of Dan Snyder’s House Oversight Committee Deposition

July 26, 2022

Washington, DC – Today, Lisa Banks and Debra Katz, who represent over 40 former Washington Commanders employees, sent a letter to an attorney for Daniel Snyder requesting the waiver of NDAs for former employees appearing before the House Committee on Oversight and Reform. The letter is in response to Snyder’s attorney’s false claims in a letter to the Committee that he has not invoked any NDAs to limit information or prevent witnesses from sharing information critical to the Oversight Committee’s investigation into the Washington Commanders’ toxic workplace culture. Snyder is scheduled to be deposed by the Committee on Thursday, July 28th.

“If it is true that Mr. Snyder does not intend to obstruct the ability of witnesses to speak with the Committee, we request that he agree to waive any NDA for that purpose, just as he did with Ms. Wilkinson’s investigation and the ongoing NFL investigation being conducted by attorney Mary Jo White.  That would provide much needed comfort to my clients and many other witnesses so that they can speak freely without fear of legal jeopardy,” writes Lisa Banks and Debra Katz.
