Target Corporation Unpaid Time Class Action (New York)
About This Case
Jeanna Kratzert and Neil Mosher sued Target in August 2025 on behalf all former and current Target warehouse employees in upstate New York, alleging that Target has failed to pay employees for all time worked, in violation of the New York Labor Law. Our clients allege that “hourly employees of the warehouses are required to walk long distances — up to approximately half a mile — to and from their assigned departments, where they are required to clock in at the start of each shift and clock out at the end of each shift,” and are not paid for that time, in violation of the New York Labor Law.
Kratzert and Mosher filed this case as a class action, seeking to represent workers at Target’s Wilton and Amsterdam warehouses. Specifically, the case seeks certification of a class of current and former hourly-paid warehouse employees who worked for Target at any time after January 10, 2019.
Plaintiffs seek a determination that this case may proceed as a class action, and seek damages for unpaid wages, liquidated damages, and statutory Labor Law damages.
